Why is my 2001 jeep grand cherokee blowing smoke everytime i am stopped at the red light .

If the smoke is black , the mixture is too rich. If it's white and disappears soon after accelerating, then it's valve stem seals.

Will not go

If the engine is running and the car won't go, it is a problem in the drive train; clutch, transmission, driveline(s). Smoke out the oil fill (a small amount) is normal.

My 1990 gmc k2500 sierra four wheel drive has blue smoke coming out of tail pipe and runs low on tranny fluid and i need to add 2 qts a week but there are now leaks.how am i loosing tran fluid?

Pull the vacuum line of the transmission modulator valve. If there's oil in the line, the diaphragm in the modulator valve is cracked and engine vacuum is pulling trans fluid into the engine intakee
