1995 Nissan Sentra (Sunny, I'm in Japan, 1.5liter, manual trans. The car runs fine until I turn on the A/C, then the engine dies. If I can kepp the revs up, it keeps going. This only happens when the fan is on and I hit the a/c button. If the fan is off and the button is on, no problem.

lots of things

• a weak pump(front of tranny box)
• (or AFT over or under filled) or the filter seal sucks air (bad seal)
• filter dirty(IN RANNY PAN)
• many seals leaking inside , causing old pump to now keep up.
• most times all the above.
• and lots and lots more....

buy a book on how to diagnose transmissions and read it.

QG15 is a Nissan engine 1.5L Petrol not a transmission

Is it a manual or automatic trans, and are you saying the clutch or trans is slipping ?

Nissan has a lot of crank sensor problems and temp is a key factor to the problem with them

You need a trans shop and a lift , just to pull trans.
You won't like the price of any hard parts,if you need them,Nissan Only.
Used to own a trans shop,I would suggest you pass on that job,doing it yourself

SERVICE IT .....OIL PLUGS, AIR ,FUEL AND OIL FILTERS GET TROTTLE SENCOR AND THE MASS AIR FLOW SENCOR CHECKED

• Automatic transmission? - Check vacuum line to transmission . The only line of rubber going to trans. Located where it attaches ro trans and rwmove it watching to see if it contains any trans fluid. If hose has oil in itm Then replace the valve it was attached to. The valve is called a transmission modulator. The diaphragm is rupture and aloowing engine vacuum to **** and burn the fluid. your trans should be needing fluid too often. Modulator around 12.00 last known.
• Manual transmission ? - PCVvalve not bafflrd against drawing oil from its location in valve cover.and or Pcv valve is defective. Cheap fix-replace
