When I had that problem with the emergency light it was the sensor for emergency brake
The abs and brakes sounds like you are loosing pressure in the system
Pull up on the emergency brake pedal with your hand to see if the light will go off. If it will. there is a slack adjustment for the cable going back to the rear brakes. If it won't then the switch is bad or out of adjustment. It's located on the emergency brake pedal
Check your emergency brake. Make sure it isn't partially pressed in. Try unplugging the switch to the emergency brake and see if the light goes out; if it does the switch is bad.
Emergency brake may not be all the way off .Also thelow leval brake fluid sensor might need attention....check the fluid in the master cylinder and if thats good ,unplug the sensor at the brake fluid resivor and see if light goes out
The emergency brake cable could have stuck on enough to make the light stay on. Sometimes a little lubricant on the cables might help. Try setting and releasing the emergency brake a couple of times. I have even had to get under the car and tap the brake cable to release it fully.
There's a switch on your emergency brake that the indicator (on your dashlight) operates from. Sometimes it slips in its bracket and gets out of adjustment causing your dash light to stay on. Its located on the upper part of your emergency brake pedal. Hope this works for you. Goodluck.
