Some Chrysler ,Jeep and Dodge vehicles have ttye pressure sensors calibrated to the vevicle,so therefore if you change the
tyres to a different type you will need to take your vehicle to a C.J.D.
service department to have the computer of your car re-programmed to accept the new tyres

I have recently put winter tires on my 2014 Nissan Rogue and now the dash keeps warning me that I have 4 flat tires. Just wondering if I can reset this sensor without having to go to a dealership?

If the tires and wheels did not TPMS installed on them, the light will never go off. As far as TPMS is concerned it sees0 psi tire pressure. You can live with it or take and have TPMS items installed on your wheels.

TPMS illuminated and not reading back left tire on 2010 dodge ram, it shows to dash marks instead of psi?

Try resetting the low pressure warning system a few times with truck parked in drive. Drive truck for about 50 miles or so. If dash line remains you will most likely have to have the tire stem device located internal to the tire replaced. Usually about $100.

I changed 1 of my valve sensor so i need to no how to reset the tpms light

By operating the tire pressure warning reset switch, the tire pressure warning ECU can be set to issue a warning at an inflation pressure that corresponds to the standard pressure of tires .Therefore, you must set the warning threshold to the proper value in order to comply with the local regulations .Operate the tire pressure warning reset switch only after the inflation pressures of all tires have been adjusted on the vehicle. To initialize the system, press and hold the tire pres- sure warning reset switch for 3 seconds or longer with the ignition switch in the ON position. When the system receives the
initialization signal, the warning light blinks 3 times (1 second on, 1 second off). During initialization, the tire pressure warning valve and transmitter measures the inflation pres sure of the tire, and registers the signals that are transmitted into the tire pressure warning ECU at a frequency of once per minute. The initialization process is completed when signals from all the tires have been received. It takes a few minutes .

I put new rims on my 2010 dodge avenger and now my yellow (!) keeps flashing. my tires are not low. how can i fix this

your car had tpms tire pressure monitoring system in each rim you previously had on. they did not get put on the new rims so your car thinks your tire pressure is at zero. so it freaking out. you need to get those sensors on the new rims and reset. that will solve your problem

How do i get this low tire pressure light to turn off if all my tires have proper air in them???

First you need to know how the system works. Your factory rims should have magnetic valve stems, thats how the on board computer detects them, the rolling speed of a tire at 32 psi. is different than at say 25 psi. thats how the computer knows it's not at the right pressure. so if you have done anything to change the fact of the special valve stem I told you about such as putting you spare tire on this would be cause of your light being on. cause the spare tire does not have the special valve stem.

How to reset the tire pressure warning light on 2005 toyota

Also, make sure the spare tire pressure is within 2 to 3 PSI of the other tires. Typically you should be at 32 PSI for stock tires / rims.

Tire pressure reset will not reset

Labatche822,
The process for resetting your Tire Pressure Monitor (TPM) is below.
Good luck, let me know.
Regards.

To reset (calibrate) the system:
1. Turn the ignition switch to RUN.
2. Press the GAGE INFO button on the DIC until
TIRE PRESSURE appears on the display.
3. Press and hold the DIC RESET button for about five
seconds. After five seconds, the display will show
TIRE PRESSURE RESET. If TIRE PRESSURE
RESET does not appear on the display after about
five seconds, see your dealer for service. After you
release the DIC RESET button, TIRE PRESSURE
NORMAL will appear on the display.
The system completes the calibration process during
driving. During the first 10 to 25 miles (15 to 40 km) of
driving, the system will not alert you if a tire is high or
low. After 25 to 100 miles (40 to 160 km), the
system will only alert you about pressure differences of
12 psi (85 kPa) or more. After about 100 miles (160 km)
of driving, the system will alert you if one tire is
10 psi (69 kPa) different from the other three tires.

Tire pressure light remains on.

We took it back to the dealer. They made the necessary adjustments needed after the winter tires +rims were put on.
