Open either the driver's or passenger's side front door. The ends of the dashboard the but-up to the door when their closed should have a plastic cover/door that can be pulled out. Behind that cover should be a fuse box that might have the flasher unit.

SOURCE: Looking for the relay on my car

http://techinfo.honda.com/rjanisis/pubs/OM/AH/BTX0707OM/enu/TX0707OM.pdf

so, i'm assuming you don't have hazard lights flashing when you push the button?

and you already checked the 15 Amp fuse on the under-hood fusebox driver side? as seen on page 440 of your owners manual?

and this odd rectangular shaped flasher unit is above the inner fuse box by the parking brake pedal as discussed in your other same question:

Acura 1998 RL blinkers and hazards not working? Replaced Blinker hazard unit under dashboard in fuse box. Still no blinkers and hazards. All other lights work fine.

Have you checked to see if your fuses are good ? If they are, you may want to check power at the switch and then at the relay. Might have a pinched wiring somewhere.

Where is the flasher relay located on my 97 continental? I have looked under the dash and no luck. The auto parts store does not even list a part number for a 97. At first the rt blinker stopped working...

The Lincoln Continental flasher is integrated into the "Multifunction light control module" part # 13c788. Cost junk yard around $50. There is no stand alone flasher relay as in the older or more senseably engineered and cheaper cars.

Hope helps.

Turn signal isn't working on my 1992 Nissan pathfinder. Fuse is fine. Hazards are working. It might be the relay, but I don't know where it is located.

you americans and your facination for relays, they rarely go wrong ,if hazards working and flashers do not then their is only two options ,the hazard light switch or the flasher switch ,i would change the hazard light switch first ,they are interconnected

Turn signals don't work at all

Well if it isnt the fuse or the blinker relays then it is gonna be the multifunctional switch. This controls your headlights, blinkers, hazards, cruise control, and wipers. To find out if this is bad turn the if=gnition on and turn a blinker on then depress your hazard switch, if the start to flash then the switch is bad and needs replaced. About 150 at a parts store. And the blinker relays are located under the drivers side dash. One on either side of the steering column. Look for a little silver round relay that is about 2 inch in diameter...should day 552 on it. The hard to reach one is on the right side of the column and is towards the back tucked in a little.

Relay or Flasher unit will be located in or near the fuse box,,,your owners manual will tell you where it is,, they are easy to replace, and cheap to buy.

YJ Blinker Relay

Hi there,

Both the hazard and the blinker flashers are located on the fuse panel. They pull straight out.

When both turn signals fail, the cause may be a blown fuse, a faulty flasher, a broken turn signal switch or a bad connection.

When you try the turn signals, do they light up and not blink?
-If so, probably the flasher unit.

When you try the turn signals, does nothing happen?
-Check the fuse

Let me know if the problem continues after replacing the flasher.

Mike
