Adam, more then likely the dealer will have to program radio with a code, unless you can find code and do it yourself.

You Peugeot dealer can supply the code based on the VIN number of your car. Each car is different hence you wont be able to find one on the internet. You may need to visit them to prove you own the car, and they may charge a small fee, but many will provide it for nothing. Then write it down for next time.
if you are getting an error code on your radio then you need yo find your radio code. first look in the owners manual and see if it is written somewhere or if the sticker was put inside of it.. if not sometimes dealerships will put the sticker on the inside of the glove box or around the outside of it.. if you are still not having luck then you can remove your radio and find the code on the actual radio... if you do not feel like removing the radio then call the dealership with your VIN and they can usually help you.. Good luck
Sometimes, the radio code is label, in back side of the radio; you need take off the radio for check it. Other times this code is in the last page from owners manual.
If you can't find it, maybe need call to the Ford dealer with your VIN number and they send to you (sometimes need pay for this service).
err-3 means you have entered incorrect anti-theft radio code more that three times. If you do not have radio code you can most of the time find the code card tucked away in the owners manual pouch.(looks like a bussiness card)If you are unable to find card you would have to pull radio from dash and retrive stereo serial number, which is on bottom side of radio.once you have s/n you can take s/n to any acura dealership(has to be a dealer)and they can get radio code for that stereo through Honda Corp.once you have correct radio code you will need to first unplug radio,or disconnect battery to reset radio memory, then type in radio code.again if entered incorrectly 3x ,radio would need to be reset again too clear error codes.good luck!
Passat 97 need to re-enter code ( 4 ) digit, however it shows the number 2 on the on screen when the radio is turned on.
