The most common cause of this is likely to be the high beam control switch. Have that tested before you replace it as it is fairly expensive and like all experts without doing hands on testing that is only an educated guess.

SOURCE: How can I change the headlights in a 1998 Honda Accord?

Its not that hard but you have to remove bumper to get to the two bottom bolts that holds the headlights. First remove grille and there are 2 10mm bolts that holt the tip of fenders they are the first bolts under the fender weld closes to the bumper cover. Then there are two bumper mounts/brackets that hold bumper to frame/radiator support. they are held by (4) 12mm bolts may need a swivel socket to get to them( easily accessed if you remove front signal lights in the bumper held by philips screws in the corners). After removing bracket bumper should come right off. Headlights are in plain clear view. (4) 10mm bolts and you are done. Re-install in the reverse. Good Luck . If I fixed ya leave me a FIX-YA comment. Contact me if you need more info

SOURCE: unlock radip code,1998 honda accord 4 door

Try these things. Why don't you call the Honda customer service at 1-800-999-1009 have your radio serial number and VIN to your car and they will help you to unlock your radio. If you don't have the serial code to your radio and you are the original owner they will tell you have to get the code and turn it back on and also how to get your serial number to you radio to unlock it. Here are some websites too: www.Radio-code.com & www.webcrawler.com type in radio unlock code. But if you are the original owner you should have a white card that came with the car. It says HONDA Anti-theft radio Identification card . It has you code number and serial number on it and how to put in the code to unlock the radio.

Theres holes and what look like gears behind each light housing. You insert a #2 phillips screw driver and turn the gears and align the lights.

SOURCE: how to remove starter from 1998 honda accord

Detach the cable from the negative terminal of the battery. Caution: If you have an anti-theft radio, make sure you have the activation code before disconnecting the battery.

Remove the battery and battery tray from the engine compartment (remove the battery first, then remove the bolts for the battery tray and remove it.).

Remove the lower radiator hose and the wiring harness from the starter bracket. Make sure they are positioned out of the way.

Clearly label, then disconnect the wires from the terminals on the starter motor solenoid (the smaller cylinder attached to the starter). Disconnect any clips securing the wiring to the starter.

Remove the mounting bolts (two) and detach the starter (pull it gently out of its housing).

Reverse this procedure for installation.

Hope this is of help to you.

I have a 1998 Honda Accord with a 2.3 engine. When I turn the headlights on then all of the lights on the dash go out. What could be wrong?

You should look for a shorted bulb. Sometimes these will be in a sidemarker light so with the headlights on, check each light around the car. Also try the turn signals and if one is flashing "faster" than the others, make sure you replace the bulbs in that one. After you fix the electrical "short" that can be caused by a bad bulb, hopefully the dash lights will start working properly again. If not, check all your fuses.

1998 Accord: 1998 honda accord sedan break lights stay on...

In all probability, the brake switch got stuck in the closed position. One way to test it is by trying to move the shift lever from Park to Neutral without depressing the brake. If you can do this, then the switch is damaged. It is very simple and inexpensive to replace. It is located a few inches above the brake pedal rubber pad.

My 91 honda accord wont start?is it the starter or just electrical problem?

first check to see if you have headlights, if you do check to see the brightness of the headlights if the lights look weak your battery could be the problem . if the lights are bright then a possible bad starter

Trouble with my headlights

First, you might check your dimmer relay fuse (under hood fuse box, number 2, (7.5A).
Hope it's that simple (if not, you will have to have the relay tested, and possibly replaced; probably something you don't want to try yourself.)
