SOURCE: 2000 silverado will start but wont stay running just dies.

I also agree it sounds like a fuel pump issue. Its easiest to remove the box (6 bolts {need impact wrench} disconnect wires at plugs and disconnect gas filler hose) and lift box up. A hoist is easiest but 6 people can lift it easily. The fuel pump can easily then be replaced. Takes about 1 1/2 hrs. to do entire job this way and its so much easier!
Good Luck!

Tranfer case stuck in neutral will not shift into gear on my 2000 chevy silverado makes grind noise when put back to park

The grinding is the transmission, this is normal because the transmission is turn when you put it in park. Don't do it to much. Most likely the motor on the transfer case has died. Check the plug first, Clean any corrosion then retry. You can remove the motor and put the case in 2hi until you replace the part or have it checked out.

When i put it in gear it starts grinding like it wont go all the way into geer

I assume you have a manual transmission. If so sounds like your clutch maybe shot. To test your clutch put the park brake on while the truck is stopped.. shift into 5th gear and slowly let release the cluth.. the engine should die. If the engine does not die you clutch is slipping and needs to be replaced. How many miles on the vehicle ?

Just replaced fuel pump in 2000 chevy 2500 and when put in gear feels like it might die but fine once it gets going?

Check for proper ground to fuel pump. did you replace the fuel filter? idle air control valve may be sticking or you have a vacuum leak.
