The smart junction box turns on the blower motor relay . Your best bet is to take your vehicle to a qualified repair shop .You don't have tools or knowledge to diagnose this problem .DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes stored in smart junction box .

2004 ford freestar no air coming out of vents.

Here is your blower circuit. The 30A fuse 14 in the bussed power box powers the blower thru the front blower relay. The 5A fuse 14 in the smart junction box powers the relay. The relay is controlled by the low current circuit board in the smart junction box. If I were you, I would remove the relay and interrogate the relay socket with a volt/ohmmeter to see if all the right signals are coming to it. Can you do that?

2004 ford freestar front blower motor will not come on. Windshield wipers only work occasionally

Pull the control switch out of the dash and check the switch connector for burnt connectors terminals, it will be be discolored, if you do find the switch burnt replace the switch and buy a repair connector from Ford. If the connector is ok then replace the blower motor resistor near the blower motor, it can cause this problem as well, in fact do that first, the blower resistor module is only about $18.00 (Source Rockauto.com). the wipers are controlled through the BCM (body control module), it can be tested with a scan tool. Below is a picture of the blower resistor module.

2004 crown vic. only 63K miles on her. AC/heat fan was sporadically working, now its done. AC was nice and cold, working fine. Is the fan a hard replacement if I were to find one at a parts yard?

Try to check the power and ground on the blower fan. If you missing the ground on the blower fan connector than most likely it is the blower fan resistor (controller), it is located under the hood close to back firewall behind left cylinder head.

Heater\AC no air in front 05 suburban

ase mechanic:

Sounds like a problem with the front blower motor. there is a blower motor resistor for the front blower motor that controls the speed of the blower and tends to go bad or fry out the blower motor. thats the most likely scenerio since you stated the control head was lighting up and responded to button changes.

Ac/blower motor short in wire

THIS is really something I cant tell you where it is. just need to trce back the wires from the blower motor and see if you see damage to the harness. starting with basics, check for power and ground at blower motor. then check power at blower resistor. coming in and going out.just have to keep checking wire till find bad spot shorted means it is ggrounding out with another wire or has rubbed on the body somewhere
