Is there a trick to turn off abs light on an 2006 chevy envoy
No trick need to fix problem check the wiring to sensor road debris known to damage wire and connection also check hubs if hub going the abs usually pops code [abs is incorporated into hub]
Yes , have the code's checked an then diagnosed ,fix the problem , then the light will go out ! That's the only way

First let me thank u for ur response..and second, ur rite and ur wrong. Yes diagnostic followed by clearing is how to fix problem....however I may b a girl but i know there is a trick or should I say steps I can take in sequence to clear it as well..been doin it for couple years..this particular make i havnt encountered til now..thank u...nexxt

I believe you have to turn the key to the on postion while at the same time holf down the reset button where your gauges are. Your going to have to hold it for a few seconds, then if I am right you will see a couple of little bars where your milage is suppost to be pop up and then one by one go away. Once all of the litttle bars have gone away your maintenance required light should go off.

that sounds correct,
the ABS sensor is located in the front wheel bearing,So it's easier to change bering and hub assembly

you need to remove the 2 torx screws (accessable when you open the tail gate). once they are out, you are able to pull the whole tail lamp assembly out of its position, and then turn the socket counter clockwise to remove it from the assembly. replace the bulb, and reassemble. good luck!
