The tank does not need to be dropped. There is a access panel either under the cushion of the rear seat or in the trunk. I have to replace the pump on my 02

Take it back to where you had it serviced. They probably simply missed connecting the fuel level sensor. The engine light is probably from a missed emissions hose that goes to the gas tank.

The fuel pump, filter and regulator are located inside the fuel tank. Removal of the rear seat will gain you access to the fuel pump. The fuel pump, filter and regulator are replaced as a unit.

signs of either being bad could be poor throttle responce of feels like its not speeding up as fast as it should or if it has a spudder or takes longer to start than usual ...and im not sure but the fuel filter should be on the drivers side behind the motor close to the firewall
