they are located in the power distribution box on the left (driver) side of the engine bay. rremove the lid and inside of it should be the list/key as to which fuse and relay is which.
The Passenger Compartment (steering wheel) box does 2002 to 2007 according to these. HOWEVER, although the same layout, so do different things depending on the year like this one.
Dave I have a 99 and mine is under the hood on the right side in a large black box .take off cover on box to access relays they are all about the same .Try switching from one to another
Replace the glowplug relay.Its faulty.The glow plugs stay on until engine warms up.The engine temp switch then activates the relay to switch off.So it could be the temp switch also faulty.
you have to refer to the owner's manual. that is where they list the fuse/relay locations. if not there, you may need to refer to the diesel supplement book. but i think it will be in the owners manual. i have a 2002 f250 and that's where mine are.
