I have an 2012 chrysler 200. i recently had to replace the radio. it was purchased off of ebay. i have thevehicles registration and radios serial number how do i retreive the security code

You need to visit a Chrysler dealer with the VIN, radio model and proof of ownership, they will either get the code for you or give you a number to call to get the code

The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code

It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing

radio may be voice ready but not equipped with hands free option which is a dealer installed option, check your local dealership

get correct manual from Nissan.
if stock radio,
the generic nissan, for 2011 will list all radios sold that year.

you might find it in the owners manual if somebody has written it down, check the envelope with the manuals in it, sometimes there is a small card in there. Oherwise you will have to go to the dealer with your registration and proof of ID and have them look it up.
