1998 Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie 5.9 V8 Magnum has two open cylinders and multiple random misfires, no power, sounds horrible.

It sounds like your firing order was wrong after changing the plugs and may have been further compounded by changing the wires. It may also be a bad connection on the injectors connector. Here is the firing order.

From 2001 Dakota FSM with same setup (3.9L V6 with NV3500):
Flywheel bolts: 55 ftlb
Pressure plate bolts: 30 ftlb
Transmission front bearing retainer bolts: 5-7 ftlb

there should be two hex head bolts located on the side of the trany one directly above the other lower one to drain upper to fill may need to pick up a hand held fluid pump found at most any auto part stores

according to the owners amnual the max towing weight for a 1999 ram 1500 quad cab wit automatic transmission is 7600 lb.
with either 5.2 or 5.9 v8. for a reg cab it is 8000 lb.

You're going to have to shimmy up underneath and guide the dipstick tube back in and fasten at least one of the screws temporarily so you don't pull it out again. Its fairly easy and you shouldn't even need a jack due to the standing height of the 1500, I'm fairly broad around the chest and shoulders and i can get under my 94 which is the the same basic body stye quite easily with no jack to put back in my pesky neutral safety switch plug that occasionally likes to wiggle out
