My 2002 Opel Corsa 160i sport bakkie looses power when driving uphill but as soon as I reach the top it runs smoothly and gain power. Why does it looses power only when driving uphill?
I fitted a new petrol filter as well as a throttle position sensor but it still does not pull strong uphill.

The flashing engine light is the key. Connect it to a OBD2 scan tool and the code will tell you where the problem is. Garages will normally read the codes for free in the hopes of getting the work. A local garage will drive to you with a scan tool. It takes 3 minutes. Have a cold Fosters ready for him.
