SOURCE: Starts but quits as soon as key returns to run position.
My bet is that you have an open the fuel pump run circuit or the vacuum switch. Most GMs have a vacuum switch to 'see' the engine running and reduce pressure by cutting voltage. However, if your car has a turbo or supercharger, they use a relay that 'flips' to a resistive line which then cuts the power level to the pump. Get a good model-specific diagram and check it out.
