If your vehicle is equipped with a cabin air filter replace it. And to prevent the smell from coming back shut the ac off but leave the blower motor on to dry up the evaporator. Not allowing to dry will result in mold growth
The fuel filter on this vehicle is located inside the fuel tank and is part of the fuel pump module. It's supposed to be a lifetime filter, and most of the time they are, but if it should ever clog then the entire fuel pump module has to be replaced.
Raise the hood and check on the pass. cowl area by wipers for a door that can be removed for acess to the filters,if not located there check in back of glove box,or just below glove box behind kick panel under dash.
