No electrical ? Do you know anything about automotive electrical systems ? There are videos on youtube , Watch basic automotive electrical trouble shooting , how to read a wiring diagram , how to diagnose a crank - no start condition . Go to http://bbbind.com/free_tsb.html free wiring diagrams ! But if don't know any of this your best bet would be to take it to a qualified repair shop !

Does it have a ignition relay switch?

Nicole, I google it and the 06 Cadillac STS does appear to have a ignition relay. It will most likely be found in the engine compartment fuse/relay box. Check the attached links, instruction and guides, Good luck

04 crysler pacifica won't start, good battery, clicking in fuse box, was working days ago. Will replacing fuss solve issues? Thanks

The thing to do is do some electrical tests at the starter motor relay in the under hood fuse / relay box, do you know what a relay is ? It's a electrical switch , using a little current to control a larger current ! The clicking you hear in the fuse box is a relay more then likely ! You can check for B+ (voltage) at the relay . The starter relay position will be marked on the lid to the fuse/relay box . When you find it pull it out an look on the bottom , you will see some numbers ,30,87,85an 86 . 30 an 87 are the load (starter) side .One being B+ an the other going to the starter . you could take a jumper wire an jump 30 to 87 an the starter would crank over if the starter is good .an if wiring going to the starter is good . 85 an 86 are the control side .85 comes from the ignition switch ,86 goes to the PCM - engine computer . I will post a youtube video on the subject. VEHICLE RELAYS Operation Diagnosis

Were is the fuse located on a 02 linclon ls for the secondary airflow injector

The solid state relay (Figure 124) switches the high current required for operation of the electric AIR pump. Input control to the solid state relay comes from the powertrain control module (PCM).

Engine will crank but not turn over. Suspect fuel pump relay or fuse.

Testing the fuel pump electrical circuit would be the way to see if the fuel is the problem ! Learning how to test automotive electrical systems would also be helpful .
Fuel Pump Electrical Circuits Description and Operation
Also looking at a wiring diagram for your vehicle would be helpful as well . You would do that to see what all is involved in the fuel pump electrical circuit on your vehicle. Also pulling a spark plug wire while cranking the engine over to check for spark .
Free wiring diagrams herehttp://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html
Enter the vehicle info. year , make , model and engine size . Under system click on engine ,then under subsystem click on fuel controls . Click the search button ,then the blue links.
But first ,hook up a fuel pressure gauge instead of guessing if it's the fuel pump . You don't know any of this , suggest you take it to a qualified repair shop .

I need help hooking up new headlights, with halos and LEDs, i nned them to turn on right wen the car turns on... Not wen i turn lights on

For that you will need to be able to do some serious wiring. You will need to find a relay in the engine compartment fuse/relay box that turns on when you turn on the key, like the electric fuel pump relay, for example. Next you will need to calculate the amperage draw of all of the lights you are going to hook up. If the fuse for the relay you chose is smaller than the amperage you need to serve both the fuel pump and the lights then you will need to make a fuse connection at a spare in the fuse box to connect to the new relay output and input (see below). The fuel pump relay has control and supply wires on it. The supply wires actually supply the power to the fuel pump. The control wires simply turn on the relay when you turn on the key in the ignition. You need to hook up the control wires of the fuel pump relay to the control wires of the new lights relay. As stated earlier, the supply wires are then hooked to the relay and, in turn to the supply fuse. Make certain that you use some heavier wire for the supply circuits. Thinner wires may be substituted for the control wires. Solder at the fuse box side and use spade connectors at the lights side...good luck!

3.8litre ,electric fan continues to run killing battery.doesn't happen all the time.

It is most likely the fan relay is sticking and allowing the fan to run on, the relay is plugged into the fuse/relay box on the drivers side of the engine compartment.

Horn relay location 1999 Ford Escort

Hi!!
Check on the engine compartment fuse box by the battery, remove the plastic cap and look on the inside for the fuse location and description diagram. It should be labeled HORN. Check the Fuse first and then the Relay. To check the Relay, just swap it with another one with the same numbers on top of the relay. After testing, don't forget to replace the Relays to their original location. No need to turn key on since it is an Hot At All Time Circuit.
On some vehicles the Horn Fuse and Relay are located in the fuse box under Instrument Panel, driver's side.
Good Luck!! Don't forget to rate this post!!

Fuse for the fuel pump relay is also in the same fuse panel in the engine compartment, Fuse #18.

Fuel pump is not pumping on my ford ltd crown victoria. i need a fuse diagram so i can see if it is just the fuse or if i need to replace the pump.

There is both a fuse and a relay for the fuel pumps electrical system. The image below of the Power Distribution Box is located in the engine compartment.

Fuse/Relay Location: 5
Fuse Amp Rating: 20 Amp Mini Fuse
Power Distribution Box Description: Fuel pump

Fuse/Relay Location: 203
Fuse Amp Rating: 1/2 ISO
Power Distribution Box Description: Fuel pump relay

Where's the switch?

Hi,

To my knowledge, there is no separate switch to activate the fuel pump. The fuel pump is one of the many electrical devices powered by the ignition switch when turned on. This is necessary since the fuel pump must be active if and when the engine is running. Due to electrical design, that is to reduce current passing through the ignition switch, a relay is used to along with the ignition switch.

Often, this relay would be among the many relays in the fuse/relay box in the engine compartment pretty close to the battery. However, in your particular model and to my knowledge, it is under the dashboard. More particularly, the fuel pump relay is under and to the right of the glove box above the ECU. There would be two (2) other relays in that area and the fuel pump relay is the last almost hidden.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.
