My Ford 2005 Focus clock/radio is possessed.

Did you ever fix the problem I have a 2005 focus and its doing the same thing

Don't know the focus radio hookup, but on most cars, there are "two" hot lines. One constant to run the clock, the other on/off via the ignition. From what I read the one going to the ignition is staying "on?" Clarify

push the clock button on the radio and enter the time and that's it

There is a yellow wire in the harness coming out of the head unit, this should be connected to a constant power. This circut maintains power to the head unit for the clock and memory.
The red wire should be connected to a source that is turned on and off with the key switch.

hi, if your radio code for example is 8156 you push the
no1 button 8 times then
no2 button 1 times then
no3 button 5 times then
no4 button 6 times then hold down the number 6 button for about 5 seconds and the radio code will store automatacly and start up. hope this helps you regards

Turn the radio off first and then disconnect the battery for 2 min then reconnect the battery. This should reset your radio and then you can eject your CD, and reset your stations and clock. Good luck

You either have a loose power connection, or have upgraded your stereo speakers and have not grounded them properly or they are drawing too much power and may need an amplifier

• Insert the ignition key and turn from position II (Ignition) to position 0 (All off) and back four times within three seconds.
• Remove the ignition key. The locking control system is now in "learn mode" for the next 20 seconds and the red warning system LED (By the clock) stays on continuously to indicate this.
• During the 20 seconds press one of the transmitter buttons. The remotes signal and code number is learned by the locking module and is indicated by flashing the warning system LED.
• Wait until learn mode times out (20 seconds) or switch the ignition back to ON.nfrared Programming Instructions:
• Put your key into the ignition and turn to position 1 (Radio). After approximately 10 seconds the red alarm control LED (next to the clock) should illuminate. As soon as it comes on remove the key from the ignition - the LED should remain lit.
• Point the remote's "eye" at one of the front door sensors and press the rear button until the light on the transmitter illuminates (Keep the button pressed)
• With the rear button held in press the front button 4 times then release both at the same time. The control lights in both clock and fob will flash 4 times to indicate programming complete.
• Turn the ignition back on to exit programming mode

shoud be 2 very small buttons on the radio/clock use a small pen or screw driver to push the buttons in and set the time, H and M, hour and minute

There is a dimmer module that dims all dash lights when the headlights are on.
