P0001 OBD-II Trouble Code: Fuel Volume Regulator Control Circuit/Open
Symptoms of a P0001 DTC will include MIL (Malfunction indicator lamp) illumination, although there may be other symptoms
If you get this DTC, you may want to try reading the codes using another (if possible) higher quality code reader. Even clear the code and see if the code comes back. This code is not common and sometimes is shown in error due to the design of the code reader (e.g. the code reader function is a secondary function of a tuner device).
P1768
Now with the code you said you had, P01768. DTC P1768 will set when TCM senses less than 3 volts at transmission control relay output (switched battery) terminals at TCM, prior to TCM energizing relay
Possible Cause
" Low battery voltage.
" Open fused B+ circuit to transmission control relay.
" Open ground circuit.
" Transmission control relay output circuit shorted to ground.
" Open transmission control relay circuit.
" Defective transmission control relay.
" Malfunctioning TCM. (very rare)

Truck wont crank and obd 2 showing error ???

The engine won't crank at all? Check the condition and tightness of the battery leads - particularly the earth lead where it connects to the bodywork/block. Loosen and retighten it to create a good earth.

Can you get a friend or neighbour to give your car a boost-start? If your car starts, suspect the battery.

If your engine is cranking but won't fire up ... that's where the OBD comes in. It should display error codes such as P0001 or whatever ... Each error code gives an indication of what the fault may be.

If the OBD scanner doesn't identify the error code (i.e 'crankshaft sensor') do a google search using the make, model of you car and the error codes. i.e 'Jeep Grand Cherokee error code P0305' or whatever..

My 2002 kia sportage is reading code p0001 can anyone tell me the what this means

P0001 Fuel Volume Regulator Control Circuit/Open
However, this may not actually be correct on your vehicle, as seemingly error code P0001 is not used by many manufacturer's.. it's a 'generic' code.

Here's a couple of links that may be of help:

WHAT REPAIRS SHOULD I MAKE ON A 1999 DODGE CARAVAN , THE CODER SAID p 0001?

What does that mean? The P0001 DTC code is one of those codes that is very uncommon and is likely intermittent. Symptoms Symptoms of a P0001 DTC will include MIL (Malfunction indicator lamp) illumination, although there may be other symptoms. Potential Causes Well there is little to no good information on this code. The "Control Circuit/Open" indicates it may be an electrical problem related to the fuel volume regulator. Possible Solutions If you get this DTC, you may want to try reading the codes using another (if possible) higher quality code reader. Even clear the code and see if the code comes back. This code is not common and sometimes is shown in error due to the design of the code reader (e.g. the code reader function is a secondary function of a tuner device). If this is a genuine engine code, then you'll want to inspect the wiring and connectors pertaining to the fuel volume regulator circuit and system and refer to a factory service manual for more specific troubleshooting steps.

Chevy astro troubleshooting

Fuel Volume Regulator Control Circuit/Open is the generic definition for the P0001; however your vehicle's manufacturer may have a different definition for the P0001 code.

P0453 Fuel tank pressure sensor/switch high.

Check the sensor plug to this particular sensor and the wiring .
The plug may be corroded or the wiring to the plug may have come loose. It is on the tank side of your
vehicle. If you cannot find it , get a manual and see where the Fuel tank pressure sensor switch is on your model.
I think what happened was that when you hit a bump or something, the wire plug or connector was about to give and it shook loose. Check and move the wires a bit.
When you are at the store why not buy a tube of Electronic Grease. (not silicone gasket sealer). This grease will keep moisture out of your plugs and still conduct electricity the way it's supposed to.

What prompted you to change the CPS? Was the issue existing before and you tried to solve it with a new CPS? I had a Jeep Grand Cherokee that kept giving me a bad CPS code. I replaced it and the problem didn't go away. Ended up being the computer.

Hello what's p 1768 hello i have ask my

The code refers to a fault with the torque convertor clutch. Make sure your transmission fluid is at the right level if the error code persists then have specialist check the transmission. The stalling symptoms you describe could also point to another error. Have a look at the PCB of the main relay. Sometimes with Hondas the solder round one of the relay pins cracks in a circle. Often when used a connection appears good but a jolt or increase in temperature can cause a disconnection and engine shut down. If you see a cracked joint just resolder it.
