I have a 2008 ford f450 dually the tail lights and cab marker lights won't work I have turn signals brake lights and dash lights I have checked fuses all fuses are ok not sure were to go from here

To the dealer or some other qualified repair shop. Light's are controlled by SJB - smart junction box , ford's body control module .
Principles of Operation
The smart junction box (SJB) monitors the headlamp switch position by sending voltage reference signals on multiple circuits to the headlamp switch. At any given time, one of the signal circuits is routed to ground. If the SJB does not detect any of the inputs to the headlamp switch is active (routed to ground) for 5 seconds, the SJB turns on the exterior lights and keeps them on for 10 minutes after the ignition switch is turned off (or 10 minutes from the time the SJB does not detect any headlamp switch input if the ignition switch was already off). If the SJB detects multiple circuits short to ground, the SJB implements a planned strategy depending on the multiple inputs received. If either of these situations occur, the SJB should NOT be ruled immediately as being at fault. This is normal behavior of the SJB design as it has detected a fault with the inputs from the headlamp switch.
When the SJB receives an input from the headlamp switch indicating a request for the parking lamps, the SJB energizes the parking lamp relay (internal to the SJB), which supplies voltage to the exterior lamps.

  • One or more parking, rear or license plate lamps is inoperative
  • Fuse
  • Wiring, terminals or connectors
  • Bulb holder
  • Rear lamp assembly (vehicles without pickup bed)
  • Cab marker lamp
  • Trailer tow exterior mirror (if equipped)
  • SJB
  • Go To Pinpoint Test O .

Pinpoint Test O: One Or More Parking, Rear or License Plate Lamps Is Inoperative
Refer to Wiring Diagrams Cell 92 , Parking, Rear and License Lamps for schematic and connector information.
Normal Operation When the headlamp switch is placed in the PARKING LAMPS ON position, the smart junction box (SJB) provides a ground for the parking lamp relay coil (integrated into the SJB). When the parking lamp relay is energized, voltage is routed through circuit CLS30 (VT/WH) to the front, rear, license plate, dual rear wheel marker, trailer tow exterior mirrors (if equipped) and cab marker lamps (if equipped). Ground is provided to the rear and license plate lamps through circuit GD176 (BK/WH). Ground is provided to the LH and RH front parking and side marker lamps through circuits GD122 (BK) and GD124 (BK/VT), respectively. Ground is provided to the trailer tow mirrors through circuit GD179 (BK/VT). Ground is provided to the cab marker lamps through circuit GD115 (BK/GY).
This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
  • Fuse
  • Wiring, terminals or connectors
  • Bulb holder
  • Rear lamp assembly (vehicles without pickup bed)
  • Cab marker lamp
  • Trailer tow exterior mirror (if equipped)
  • SJB
  • PINPOINT TEST O: ONE OR MORE PARKING, REAR OR LICENSE PLATE LAMPS IS INOPERATIVE CAUTION: Use the correct probe adapter(s) when making measurements. Failure to use the correct probe adapter(s) may damage the connector.
Test Step Result / Action to Take O1 DETERMINE IF ALL THE PARKING LAMPS ARE INOPERATIVE
    • Key in OFF position.
    • Place the headlamp switch in the PARKING LAMPS ON position.
    • Are all the parking lamps inoperative?
    Yes
VERIFY the SJB fuse 22 (15A) is OK.

If the vehicle is equipped with cab marker lamps, GO to O8 .

If the vehicle is not equipped with cab marker lamps, VERIFY the SJB fuse 22 (15A) is OK. If OK, GO to O2 .

    No
If the cab marker lamps are illuminated and all the remaining parking lamps are inoperative, GO to O2 .

If all the cab marker lamps are inoperative, GO to O3 .

If both trailer tow mirrors are inoperative, GO to O5 .

For all others, GO to O6 .

I have a 2008 GMC Acadia and the right rear power window will not go up, it will go down, any ideas

Do you know which one of these your vehicle is equiped with ? Do you know where the vehicle RPO code sticker is ?
Power Windows Description and Operation (RPO AXC/AXE)
Power Windows Description and Operation (W/O AXC/AXE)

Power Window System Controls
The power window system will operate anytime the retained accessory power (RAP) system is active or when the ignition switch is in the ACCY or ON position.
The driver and passenger door lock and side window switches are integrated control module switch assemblies. The DDS and PDS switches are normally open, 3 position rocker type switches, with detents for up, down, and express down. The DDS rear passenger window switches are normally open, 2 position rocker type switches, with detents for up and down. The DDS rear window lockout switch is a push button type switch that provides an active signal to the DDS whenever pressed. Whenever the rear window lockout switch is pressed the DDS will activate or deactivate the rear window lockout function depending on the current state and illuminate the switch indicator whenever the function is active.
The PDS contains a single power window switch that is an integral component. Closing of this normally open, rocker switch provides the PDS with a request for the front passenger power window operation. The switch for the front passenger window has 3 positions UP, Down and Express Down. Each of these switch positions is a direct input to the PDS.
The rear passenger door power window switches are normally open, 2 position rocker type switches, with detents for up and down.
Do you know what DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes are ?

DTC B3822 00: Right Rear Window Up Control Circuit
Circuit/System Description
The body control module (BCM) monitors the window UP/DOWN command from the driver door module(DDM). When the rear window UP or DOWN command is received, the BCM sends a signal to the appropriate rear window switch. The rear window switches continuously monitor the up and down signal circuits, if no function is being commanded, the signal voltage is at approximately B+ voltage. If the UP or DOWN function is commanded, the BCM signal voltage drops approximately 0.5 volts and the appropriate rear window switch will then command the window in the UP or DOWN direction.

How to test computer controlled door locks Subaru same concept for your vehicle .

GM factory test procedure
Circuit/System Testing
Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the appropriate rear window switch.
Ignition ON, test for greater than 9 volts between the signal circuit terminal A and ground while commanding the rear window UP with a scan tool.
? If less than the specified range, test the signal circuit for a short to ground or open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal, replace the BCM.
Test for greater than 9 volts between the signal circuit terminal C and ground while commanding the rear window DOWN with a scan tool.
? If less than the specified range, test the signal circuit for a short to ground or open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal, replace the BCM.
If all circuits test normal, replace the rear window switch.

Your best bet maybe to take it to a qualified repair shop

Wiring diagram for rear window defogger 2005 silverado from dash to deffoger

Rear Window Defogger System Components
The rear window defogger system consist of the following components:
• HVAC control module
• Body control module (BCM)
• DEFOG relay
• Rear window defogger grid
Rear Window Defogger Operation
When you turn the ignition to the ON position, ignition voltage is supplied to the DEFOG relay coil. Battery positive voltage is supplied at all times to the DEFOG relay switched input. When the rear window defogger switch is depressed, the HVAC control module illuminates the rear window defogger indicator and sends a class 2 message to the BCM. The BCM energizes the DEFOG relay by grounding the control circuit of the relay. This allows battery positive voltage from the relay switched input through the switch contacts and out the relay switched output to the rear window defogger. Ground for the rear window defogger is provided by G306 or G390 (crew cab).
When you turn ON the ignition and press the rear window defogger switch for the first time, the defogger cycle lasts 10 minutes. Further operation results in 5 minute defogger cycles.

Do you know what your messing with ? What's the problem ?

2003 gmc envoy Windows fuse

Are all windows not working ? Two separate circuit breakers left & right . Both in rear fuse box . Fuse Block - Rear Beneath the left rear seat
Check for broken wires inside the rubber boot from body to doors.
Do you know about electronic control modules ?
The power window system consists of the following components:
?€¢
Driver door module (DDM)

?€¢
Passenger door module (PDM)

?€¢
Body control module (BCM)

?€¢
LR power window switch

?€¢
RR power window switch

?€¢
Window up and window down relays in each of the rear passenger window switches

?€¢
Window lockout switch

?€¢
Reversible power window motors in each of the doors (circuit breaker protected)

?€¢
LT DOOR CB 25A (System power for left rear window)

?€¢
RT DOOR CB 25A (System power for right rear window)

The power window system will operate anytime the retained accessory power (RAP) system is active or when the ignition switch is in the ACCY or ON position.
The DDM contains 4 power window switches which are integral components. Closing any of the normally open, rocker type switches provides the DDM with a request for power window operation. The switches for the 2 front windows have 3 positions Up, Down and Express Down, while the switches for the rear windows have only 2 positions, Up and Down. Each of these switches and their positions is a direct input into the DDM. Upon receiving a request for power window operation, the DDM, transmits a class 2 message indicating the switch and it's changed position.
The PDM contains a single power window switch that is an integral component. Closing of this normally open, rocker switch provides the PDM with a request for the front passenger power window operation. The switch for the front passenger window has 2 positions Up and Down. Each of these switch positions is a direct input to the PDM.
The 2 rear passenger doors have there own switches. Each of the switches contain a power window up and down relay. A switch activation alone can control the up and down functions of the rear windows. However the BCM, upon receiving a class 2 message from the DDM, can control the set of relays which will activate the rear window motors.
