did you check the valve train- head to make sure no damage to valves or push rods if their good than need to recheck timing chain

no way of doing so. need to remove cover. i have been doing this since 1996 and have never seen chain driven nissan jump timing. have seen some timing belt cars jump, but never chain driven engines. i think you have something else going on. i have done many and many timing chain jobs on frontiers and maximas, but not for a timing chain jumping issue. upper timing chain shoes wear out and engine gets noisy. i have to say i have seen some with the primary chain stretched a bit, but car still ran fine.

the engine is running so the timing will be correct
there are 2 tdc positions on an engine and it is possible that you got tdc on exhaust stroke which would mean that the marks will not line up
also if you paid to have the job done and it is leaking oil , it is the mechanics job to fix the leak --not yours

Easy. Nissan almost always ran on timing chains esp the trucks. You will not have to worry abt changing the timing chain ( if ever ) to usually at least 250,000 or 300,000. I seldomly have heard on anyone changing them though.

Lower tailgate. should be screws to remove lens assy.

this is a chain........60000 mile maint on this truck is fluid change on the trans and difs and transfer case if it has one and sparkplugs. and an over all look over
