Noise sounds like a belt, only makes it in park, neutral and drive

check the condition of the power steering pump belt and the belt tension

Screeching could be cam belt and ur electrics windows and indicators check fuses

check drive belt driving altanator and air con it sounds like it needs adjusting

The rattle is caused because the rpm is lower. When stopped in drive with one foot on the brake, press the throttle down slowly until the vibration stops and the noise goes away. Cause? Weak or bad motor mounts, loose bolts or parts.

Im hoping this is only a loose drive belt ck the belt tension by moving it up and down you should only have 1/4 play on the belt more than that you belt is loose

Try it with the serpentine belt off,could be the damper,could be also the bolts that hold the torque converter to the flywheel,just pulling a plastic cover will access the bolts.

check the tranny fluid

that sounds like a clutch problem. get it checked asap because if that goes you may get stuck in netural and not go anywhere happened to me and it has not nice. if you start smelling a burning smell. that is defo your clutch

mcdevito75 here, If you have 1 continuous belt on the engine (serpentine) then the belt could be worn or the tension pully holding the belt tight could be going bad. No noise in Neautral or Park as increased engine speed in these gears over rides the worn part and thus no noise. On a cold engine examine the belt, look for frays / wear from where the belt rides the pullys. If the belt is 2 years old, Change it.

difficult one this without haveing a drive in car to hear the noise,this sort of sound could be caused by the flex plate on the crank/torque converter,break on edge of fan belt,power steering pump,altenator bearing,evan the transmission possibly a pump,or could it sound more a sort of electro mechanical noise ?? without hearing it its very difficult to diagnose .
