If the mirror housing is in place, Have one cut to fit. Glue it in. If the housing is broken, replace all of it. You can't fix a broken side mirror. Tried to many times.

How to replace outside side power mirrors in original housing? 2008 Ford Edge

Google replacement mirror glass for Ford Edge 08.

They make a replacement mirror glass available that uses double sticky tape. This has worked great for me. The heated function still continued to work!! In my case I replaced a scratched mirror leaving the old mirror in place. If yours is broken included is a link for a procedure to replace a broken mirror.

Confirm the dimensions before purchasing. Some car manufactures have more than one design for different model cars same year..

Use a heat gun or hair dryer to heat up the glass. This will soften the glue which holds the mirror onto actuator. Gently pry the mirror off. the actuator can then be unscrewed and removed.

Go to a breakers yard or ford, you will have to unscrew & pull off the interior cap on the insde to udo the mirror whole unit & pop the glass out of the old unit by pulling carefully, then disconnect the motor & wiring, then re-fit as dismantled.
Hope this helps, If you can't do it yourself then buy the mirror & take it to a decent garage as they are not hard to replace & the dealership will charge twice as much !

Broken driver side mirror

you'll need to remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you can remove the cover adjacent to the mirror and remove the bolts and the mirror will pop right out

The wing mirror on my ford fiesta is broken in half

Check at a breakers yard you may be able to find a suitable replacement with mirror intact for less than a new on can be had. Or check a glass shop to see if they can cut a replacement to the size you require.

2007 Ford Focus Driver Side Mirror Replacement

Usually its easier and cheaper to buy the whole assembly rather than try to just replace the mirror. If you go to a junkyard and buy it there they will show you how to do it.
