Question about 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer GTS CVT Sedan
I am looking to replace the cigarette lighter. Which number fuse is it? I know it is 15amp and know that it is in the fuse box down and left of the steering wheel.

First place to look is the owner's manual. Should be a roadside emergency chapter in it with a list of fuses and usually a schematic to locate it. If worse comes to worse a local AutoZone or Advance Auto store will generally change the fuse for you if you are uncomfortable with the process.

Actually, my wiring info calls it a power outlet. Note the picture. That fuse should be in the integrated power module, under the hood. Usually a fuse has a bare spot over each fuse leg, use a test light, If both legs light-up, so far so good.
In the diagram, the top wire is voltage, bottom wire is ground. You have to have both or it won't work. The ground wire is black.

in a lancer the fuse number is no 9--- 10 amp
the fuse cover shows it as 24 which is not there
