For the 95 ranger, there is a horn fuse and horn relay in under hood fuse box. The fuse box cover may have a legend on it for location of fuse or your owners manual may have this info?

SOURCE: the horn and cruise control doesn't work, fuses are

the horn input to ground is located in the cruise control module. if they both don't work then your cruise control module or the clockspring coil for the steering wheel needs to be replaced. If airbag lights is on as well then I would change the clockspring coil first.

SOURCE: How to time a 2.3 1995 ford ranger

you have to loosen the tension bolt on the distributor and turn it left or right a few degrees while using a timing gun. stop adjusting after the line on the harmonic balancer lines up with the 0 peg. On a side note, being you have a 95 the ecm may control the timing on your vehicle, if it does and your timing is still off your ecm could be bad.

right is non cruise opted car. Service manual drawing.

ranger-undefined-undefined-0.jpg no engine told and matters.
wiring always does on different opted engines.

here is speed control words.? service manual SM.
Modern name is ISC
"On vehicles equipped, the DC motor/idle speed control actuator is mounted to the fuel charging assembly. This component controls the idle speed, including such functions as high cam rpm, anti-diesel shut off, dashpot and pre-positioning the engine fuel charging assembly for restart. This control actuator is driven by the EEC-IV system, which includes an integral idle tracking switch".

95 ford ranger2wd horn does not work and the gas

This is what I have for your horn wiring diagram. The relay has two sides, the switch side, right side in diagram, and the control side, left side in diagram. The control side needs voltage and ground to energize relay, top wire is voltage and bottom wire is ground on that side. My guess is problem with wiring in steering column--clockspring or horn switch. If you unplug relay, use jumper wire on switch side cavities, the horn should sound, if so, the problem is on the control side of relay. Just my opinion.

My horn quit working on my 93 ford ranger and all i get is a clicking when i push it.

if you get a clicking noise then the system has power to the relay, make sure the horn circuit has power as well, check fuse for the horn in the underhood fuse box, if it is ok replace the horn
