Front end shaking while on highway starts bad and hard to control. Slow done fast and it stops. Once starting up to speed doesn't continue to shake

Just replaced ball joints and tie rods in July, no problems till now. Shaking so bad very hard to control to go straight. Feels like front end coming apart. Can not find anything broken or loose. Very confused as this doesn't happen all the time.

Hi jtruppel69, we want to help you with your question, but we need more information from you. Can you please add details in the comment box?

I am not sure on your problem , how are the wheel bearings and the other cause I have experienced was the Tyre where the rubber separated from the steel belt on the left Tyre which caused this sort of behavior and pulled to one side. How old are your Tyres as may not be worn on tread but the sidewall rubber may be perished
A Tyre place may be able to access this.

Check to make sure one of your disc brakes are not grabbing or that one of the rotors are warped.

95'95' mercury cougar xr7 shakes at slow speeds. When I get to highway speeds shaking starts to fade away.

Hi John,

Sometimes this is related to tread ply separation. the key is the frequency or rate of the vibration. Why it steadies at faster speed is anyone's guess. To test you jack up a corner of the car, spin the wheel and observe across the tread while tire is spinning.

Another way to test is to have the tires balanced and have those guys check for trueness.

If you find this condition, there is no cure but new tires.

My 1989 Chevey Celebrity started shaking the other day the front part of the car, not like the front end is messed up but it shakes.

Could be a wheel, tire, or axle shaft.
You could rotate the tires front to back and see if the vibration moves.
If it does the problem is one of the tires or wheels.
If it stays in the front, its probably one of the axle shafts. It could also be a hub bearing or something loose in the suspension. But a loose suspension part would normally show up when you hit a bump rather than on a smooth road.

Has a shake in the front end shakes then stops then shakes again only at hwy speeds around 70 mph

Looseness in the front end or a tread separation in the tire. This is extreme but you get the idea if there is a bulge near the side of the tire even a tiny one

My jeep frount end shakes when i hit a pothole what makes it do that

Check your steering stability bar I had the same problem and it turned out that I had bent that bar.

The death wobble is basically when you are driving your lifted jeep down the road and the front end starts to shake violently. It can happen at virtually any speed, though mostly above 40 mph or so, and is a frightening experience, especially for those witnessing it for the first time. Now it doesn’t throw you off the road or anything … the front end just shakes. And the only way to stop it is to slow down and pull over. So it wasn’t that hard to get used to at first. But as it happened more and more, it seemed to get more and more out of control.

Hope help (remember comment and rated this).

My 1993 pontiac bonneville's front end shakes when i accelerate to 45-50mph, could this be becuse of a bad ignition coil? or something else?

Generally a front end shakes at that mileage is do to tires needing balanced especially if it stops when you go over 50 or more
