SOURCE: Water is pooling behind front passenger seat. not

it sounds like you have a leaking heater core it either is bad or you have a leak where the hoses attach to the heater core. if the water doesnt have antifreeze in it then maybe your window seal is leaking. hope this helps you . best of luck. have a nice day.

2001 Camry water on floor of rt side front and back, fog mist coming from ac vent, 90 degree weather, no rain. Back floor was pooling with water, no odor

Most likely the ac drain is stopped up. The drain is under the car near where a passenger feet would be. You can try gently running a pencil or something similiar to clear it out or compressed air.

Recently when it rains I get water pooling in both pront passenger foot wells. The interior roof fabric is very wet to the touch at each front windshield post back about 6" over the front side windows....

windshield gasket. if windshield was recently replaced, it was not installed properly. get it fixed quick or it will rot the carpet, rust the floor, and possibly cause massive electrical problems

My 2005 taurus has started getting a pool of water on the passenger side floorboard after a heavy rain, any ideas on how to fix, didn't see any leaks from windshield.

Look for moisture on the glass of the windshield, as well as the passenger side door, if thebottom seal isnt making contact on the door glass water will run in threw the door

Rainwater pooling inside passenger cabin

I suspect that water is pooling in the cowl area (in front of the windshield). Since it's at an angle, the water can't drain out the usual drain. This is also where the air is drawn in for the heat/a/c. I think that the water that collects is flowing in through the climate control system and coming out the floor vent. If you want to test it, jam some paper towels up in the floor vents and recirculating air intake and see if they get wet. If you just want to solve the problem, try backing into the space.

My dad has a 2004 Dodge Dakota with the exact same problem, the passengers side floor board is soaked with water after running the AC. Also there is a pool of water that collects under the truck.

We are getting a mechanic to look at it, I will post what the problem is when we find out.

Water collects and pools on passenger floorboard;

have the dealer water spray test the body seams, that is the only way to find these leaks..

Water in the back seat!

I have a 96 crown vic and had the same problem. There's a drain for the firewall that causes the leak. Water flows down the windshield to the drain and out the bottom to the car. Ford put the drain on the inside of the firewall and if a gasket fails the water will come in the car. The drain is on the front passenger side of the car. The best way to get at it is to jack up the car and remove the front passenger tire. If you pull back the plastic wheel well, you will see the drain on the firewall of the car. Its actually a very easy fix, just use some GE silicon around the gasket area. My back floor would flood out when it rained. I pulled the carpet out and the passenger seat, but you'll never find the leak from the inside of the car or under the dash, it's just to tight. I guarantee this will fix the problem.
