I'm not sure you can turn up the volume, but you might be able to locate the module with the speaker for the reverse sensing module and clear the path, removing any obstructions, so that you can hear it better. If the module's not blocked, turn down the radio or consider hearing aids.

Can you feel hoses going into firewall under hood and see if both hoses are hot to touch, just to see if the flow is getting to the heater core. They should be fairly hot to touch when engine at normal operating temperature & heater is on. If one is a fair bit cooler than the other, that is a sign of a clogged heater core. Let me know what you find, if you can get to them to feel. Careful at first in case real hot.

o2 sensors go after the cat converter
HO2S ( heated oxygen sensors ) go in the exhaust manifold before the cat converter
don' confuse the units as one has a totally different operation to the other

Disconnecting the wires the reverse lights should be off...
If not try check wire harness...
