Solution: If both headlights aren't working, it's unlikely that a bulb is at fault. The likely cause is a fuse, headlight relay, headlight switch, dimmer switch or a wiring fault. ... Consult your owner's manual to locate the main fuse for the headlight circuit and replace that fuse with one having the same amp rating.

Most total headlight failures are caused by a bad component like a fuse, relay, or module. Wiring problems can also cause both headlights to stop working. High beam headlights don't work or low beams don't work. The cause: A burned out bulb, or a problem with the high beam switch or relay. https://www.lifewire.com/fix-non-working-headlights-4137021
Theres a sensor in the middle of the dash by the front windshield that detects sunlight and triggers the automatic headlights. The main headlights and daytime running lights might be on a different circuit, in which case they daytime running lamps would turn off at night and the main headlights would turn on, indicating the main headlights arent working and the daytime running lamps are working as intended.
I would check all the fuses related to headlights, check the bulbs and check the switch, then last the light sensor on the dash.
It could be that the bulbs are broken or that the spark plug is out. I would take it to your mechanic.------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Opel Opcom
if fuse under hood has blown there will be one in main fuse box that has blown as well fuses can look good but are bad need a comunity tester or multy meter to check connection
Try checking both a; your fuses, and b; check your bulbs. You should have two fuse boxes, one under hood and one in or under the dash. Check those for bad, blown or weak fuses. And check your headlights bulbs for them being good and their connection. If this doesn't fix your problem, you may check out your highbeam switch.
first open headlight box and remove the bulb and check by tester power supply (DC power supply ) Is coming there or not if its coming and bulb wont work then its problem in bulb if supply is not coming till headlight then check fuse box and other connector i think there any fuse is broken that's why headlight is wont working . change fuse after that headlight will work again
If the parking lights do not come on, they do have their own fuse, and it could be bad. This is separate from the brake lights.
But if the fuses are all good, then it could be the headlight switch. Remember the switch does the parking lights separate from the main headlights, so that you can just turn on the parking lights if you want, (Paris style). It is a feature left over from WWII, when Europeans were not allowed to run with full headlights at night, in the cities.
It May not be your fuse. The headlight unit uses one bulb for dipped headlights and another for main beam. On your fuse panel cover should be a sticker with symbols on relating to which fuse has which purpose
Hi, the main headlights work through a separate fuse from the full beam. If all the fuses are fine the problem might be that the globes has blown on the vehicle. To make 100% sure that it is the globes, see if you get power to the headlights when the main lights are switched on.
