Have a 95 Accord LX, 4 cyls. One of four spark plugs went bad and misfired. The gasoline was not always burned, ending up smelling like gasoline. Changed all four plugs and the engine is OK now.
if you bothered to have the fault codes read to determine the reason for the engine light coming on and then have the problem fixed , it would not have a problem starting
Some of the grime, etc on the engine prior to steam cleaning along with any solvents used may have affected the drive/fan belt. I would suggest you either check tightness of the belt and possibly consider replacing it.
