Need to calibrate spark plugs on a 1994 ford thunderbird 3.8

check the connections at the battery, make shure there is no corrosion,also check that the ground wire from the bat to the engine is in good. if you have an ohm meter check the wires themselves,should show no resistance, please rate my fix,check back if you need more help Ray

Each valve cover has a removable top, held by seven 7mm screws. Spark plugs are under coils.

Do you have the "firing order" correct? In other words, is each spark plug wire going to the same cylinder it was on before you changed the plugs? If you have done nothing else but changed the plugs then this is the most likely problem.
If when you try to start the car it backfires through the exhaust or backfires through the intake. Then this " IS" the problem. Good luck.

If you have owners manual it will be in there. If not call local auto parts supplier or performance shop. They'll give you the gap and go ahead and set gap using a gapping tool.($5) at auto parts place.
