SOURCE: changing front brake pads on a kia rio 2004
ok first you have to take the wheel off
then you will see the caliper there'
there are to bolts behind that take them out
then take the caliper off dont undo nothing else
take the old pads out
use a caliper to push the cylinder back (its what pushes the brake in)
put the new brakes in the same way they came off
do the bolts up
then pump the brakes
is the cylinder is to hard to push back you will have to realse the pressure buy undoing the bleeder then you will have to bleed them again (but in this case they should move easy
SOURCE: tool for 2006 brake calipers I need size

SOURCE: anyone know how to install an alternator in a 05 kia rio
ask anyone you know that may know how to put it on
SOURCE: parking brake on my 01 kia rio(standard) no longer holds
You may want to revisit those rear brakes to make sure the parking brake linkage is hooked up properly. There is usually a spring that needs to go over the parking brake linkage and make sure the cross bar is facing the right direction and holds both the shoes and the parking brake linkage.
SOURCE: 2003 kia rio I changed the fuel filter the car
had similar problem, 2003 rio 1.6l idle fine and die when trying to accelerate or lurch and die ran fine in reverse change timing belt, wires plugs, had codes for multi cyl misfire and low injector voltage, still same lurch and die. try wiggle test on sensor plugs and main engine harness between battery and engine . i did this and found car smoothed out, tried wiggle again and car died, took harness apart where i wiggled it and found broken wire to crank sensor.good now
