Hi....
The fuel Pump relay (main relay)
On your Honda Accord is located:
Left side of the dash, near left side of the steering column.
On direction under the Instrument cluster.
You will need to remove the Cruise control Module if your car is equipaded with cruise control.
The cruise control module is atached fro 2 screw 10mm.
One on the steering column the other one at the Instrument bracket.
After you remove the cruise computer, you will see the relay.
Is a little bigger that a regular relay colour gray.
And the number on the relay is : RZ0088.

I hope this help on your question.
Thank you for use fixya....

The main relay on 1992 Accords are considered a dual relay. It controls both the ECU and the fuel pump in tandem.

SOURCE: ac compressor clutch relay 1991 honda accord

Difficult to describe, but I will give it a try.
Inside the driver's side fender, close to the front of the car, there is a bracket that is held in place by one bolt, but which has a short horizontal bar as part of it which has two large clips encircling two cylinderical devices which have wires clipped into them at the bottoms. The one closest to the front (radiator) is the compressor clutch relay. The other one is the condenser fan relay.
Hope this helps you find it.

SOURCE: 1991 honda accord get gas, spark, timing rihgt and

Is there any reason that you have not checked the valve lash on the engine? It's really quite simple and if you have misadjusted intake valves the car will never start. Not to mention with while adjusting valves you will have to double check crank and cam timing twice (once at cylinder 1 adjust and once at cylinder 4 adjust)at the same time you will also be abble to watch dist.rotation and again be able to see that the dist rotor is in the correct firing position in junction with cam timing.ANYTIME a honda or acura has belt replaced you will check valve clearances,it changes with different belt tention on end of camshaft. when distributor was replaced was ignitor unit replaced, and coil (both inside dist. housing)replaced at this time?Hondas and Acuras both are notorious for failed ignitors and coils.(intermitantly even)this can result intermitant spark(either of the two) or weak spark when failing coil is problem. you may have spark but how hot is it?And last but not least ,most affordable but extremely coomon mistake...do not ever replace spark plugs on honda with anything but NGK spark plugs,if you use bosch ,bosch platinums you "WILL" see running problems and or no start!!!!!splitfire plugs will be destroyed within weeks in a Honda! And use nothing but a Honda Distributor Rotor. T.E.C is manufacturer of Honda cap & Rotors. You may be thinking to yourself how silly and anal i am about those things but i can say i have seen hundreds of civics, integras, preludes, with no starts, poor performance, etc, with customers"just replaced plugs, cap and rotor, they should be good they were expensive bill at checker said they were the best".hundreds of dollars later and driving out with NGK plugs and honda cap and rotor, lesson learned

1991 honda accord will not start, it's getting fuel and spark but will not start

Could be a weak coil or bad ignition module located in the distributor. I would replace the coil if you have not ever done so then the ignition module. The coils last about 150k miles and then can go anytime after that. I've owned four 90's Hondas and they have all had this problem. If neither of those things work then you may have a bad distributor.

Where is the Main Fuel Relay for a Honda Accord 1991

The fuel cut off relay is behind the underdash fuse block. Make sure the ignition is off and remove the fuse block mounting bolts and the fuel cut off relay is on the back.

WHERE IS THE MAIN FUEL RELAY LOCATED ON A 1991 HONDA ACCORD

Hi,

The main relays on Hondas are well known for failure. Usually due to dry joints inside (solder breaks down after time).

This is the usual location of the main relay (if not there, then look on other side of dash):

http://z.about.com/d/autorepair/1/0/5/R/honda_main_relay-a.gif

This is what the relay looks like:

If you're technically inclined, you can gently lift the tabs to open the relay...inspect the solder joints with a magnifying glass. Any broken joints, you can attempt to solder the joint correctly, then retry the relay.

Cheers,

1991 Honda Accord cranks but will not start

I think you should check the air filter or air intake. It seems like it's not gettin and air to start since when you spray the starting fluid it's runs but stop and it stalls. I think that it's the air supply for the car.

Looking for the fuel pump relay or sensor

The Fuel pump relay is part of the EFI main relay and can not be replaced separately. The EFI main relay is located behind the dash, left of the steering wheel.
