Location for crankshaft sensor on 2003 Saturn Vue

Hi,

it could be underneath the car or under the hood. Please acquire a picture of the part and start by checking each place. If not able to locate the image, then please call GM (i believe owner of Saturn) to ask technicians to give specific location and any associated diagrams for finding it.

bank 1 cam shaft position sensor ? you have one bank .This vehicle does not have a cam sensor . The ICM provides a synthesized cam signal to the PCM.

Crankshaft Position Sensor Replacement

Remove the engine front cover . Refer to Timing Belt Cover Replacement in Engine Mechanical - 3.5L.

Remove the timing belt guide (703).
Remove the crank sensor and harness.

Removal Procedure
Remove the engine drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .
Remove the right splash shield. Refer to Engine Splash Shield Replacement in Body Front End.
Remove the engine balancer using the EN 46337 .

Remove the timing belt cover bolts (8).
Remove the timing belt cover (7).

Transmission right by the flywheel

It lets the computer know the position of the crankshaft and piston so that it can inject fuel at the proper time.

The spare tire is located in the rear of the vehicle under the carpet.

the coolant temp sensor is located at rear of engine oppisit the timing belt under rear of intake manifold.

Depends if the engine is 3.0 or a 2.2?
3.0 purge is on the top, back side of the intake. Black, cylinder. Looks the same on a 2.2, but is located next to the air filter.

I hope you can find a repair manual by searching the Internet.
