How to replace timing chain on 2001 dodge intrepid 2.7

It's a BIG job. It requires removing everything from the top of the engine (intake manifold, throttle body, all plumbing, valve covers) then removing the harmonic damper, most of the accessories, and then the timing cover. That's just to get to the timing chain. You have to remove the chain guides and tensioner, then cam gears and crank gear. If you're going this route, also replace the two chains (intake cam to exhaust cam) on top of the heads, the water pump, and the tensioners. Be very precise in reinstalling the three timing chains so that everything is in time.
The link shows the details of the chain itself, but be aware that your engine is packed into your Intrepid with limited work space in some areas.

I have a 2010 dodge charger and need to know where's my camshaft Position Sensor Located

At the front of the block. About 3-4" below and to the right of the water/coolant air bleeder valve. Right in front of the right radiator fan. It inserts into the block. Just pull it right out

Where is the water pump located on a 2010 Dodge Charger?

It is in the front, center line of the engine, just below the V valley. You will have to remove the front covers to see it. The timing chain will run around the pulley, so it will be easy to spot. What won't be so easy is getting everything removed so you can see it.

I was looking for a diagram and directions for replacing the water pump in my 2004 dodge diesel 2500 truck!!1 this way I know that i am doing it right!!!

Simplest water pump ever made. Simply remove the air filter housing from the engine. Should be 2 bolts that hold it on and a hose clamp on the intake hose. Then remove the serpentine belt from the water pump pulley. Achieve this by using a wrench to release tension off the tensioner pulley which is located below the water pump. Then there are 1 bolt on either side of the water pump shaft. then just simply pull it out. You may need to use a piece of wood and a hammer to tap it loose but it should come out easy. And install is the reverse. This engine has a O-ring instead of a gasket, put a little oil on the O-ring before installing. water pump install for 2004.5 325 HP 6 series Cummins. look on the driver side of valve covers to verify which model you have. 04 says 305HP 04.5 says 325HP

2002 Intrepid: need to replace the water pump...

In the 2.7L V6, the water pump is driven by the timing chain. I'm pretty sure that in the 3.2/3.5L V6, it's driven by the timing belt. In both cases, it's a lot of work to get to, as you have to remove everything on the top (intake plenum, valve covers) and front (belts, pulleys, idlers, p/s pump, and timing cover) of the engine. Then, after removing and replacing the water pump and timing chain/belt, you have to make sure that the valve timing is exactly right, and reset the chain tensioner on the 2.7L.

A lot of work. Unless you're very comfortable with working on engines, leave it to a professional. You'll save yourself a headache (not to mention some busted knuckles). ;-)

How do i change the water pump on a 96 dodge intrepid

If its a 2.7L, you have to remove the intake and valve covers. You 'll have to remove the radiator core support and radiator. You'll have to remove the drive belts and balancer. Then you remove the timing cover and make sure the timing chains are lined up. The water pump is located in the middle of the front of the engine behind the timing cover. This job really isn't a good thing to attempt if your a basic home mechanic. This is a very complicated job. If the timing chains aren't lined up perfectly, you can bend every valve in the engine on start up. Then it gets expensive.
