SOURCE: the pcm in my 2000 chevy blazer is not firing the coil because the pcm is burned up. how does something like that happen

howdie sounds like you got a ground problem to the pcm so l wood put aground from the pcm to the body for extra and see how that goes

95 Chevy blazer transmission fuse keeps blowing
One of the solenoids inside the trans is shorted . TCC,3-2 ,2-3 ,1-2 shift solenoids . Do you know how to test electrical circuits with ohm meter ? Find the PCM or a connector (which ever is easiest ) to get at ! Go here for wiring diagrams http://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html free wiring diagrams. Test each solenoid circuit . The fuse supplies power, the PCM - engine computer turns the solenoids on by supplying a ground . If you don't know how to do this check out this video ECM Inputs and Outputs Diagnosis you will find this wiring diagram at www.bbbind.com . this diagram is under engine ,subsystem -fuel controls .

Can i put a 1999 chevy blazer motor and transmission in my 1995 chevy blazer?
Yes, it's involved though. You would have to use the PCM (or ECM), and wiring harness's for both the engine and transmission. You would have to get wiring diagrams for both vehicles (eautorepair.net $29 year). Then you would have to look over each wiring diagram and interface the newer wiring diagram to the older vehicle. Not impossible but requires a knowledgeable mechanic.

Probably easier and cheaper to get a reman short block and overhaul or replace your 1995 transmission.

No power to the fuel pump on a 1990 K5 blazer need a wiring diagram for that model to trace the power wire back from the fuel pump
CHECK FUSE + RELAY TO FUEL PUMP.IF THEY CHECK OUT GOOD.YOU HAVE PCM PROBLEMS. MAKE SURE PCM FUSE IS GOOD.YOU CAN BUY A HAYNES REPAIR MANUAL.IT HAS ALL OF YOUR ELECTRICAL DIAGRAMS.
