It means there is a problem with the transfer case, 4wd system.
try disconnecting the battery for 2-3 minutes and see if it clears.
if not get it decoded at AutoZone or Kragens with their scanner.

It may also be one of the Oxygen sensors. I had the same problem and Acura told me that the front O2 sensor needed to be replaced. When that happens, for whatever reason the 4wd system is automatically disabled until you replace it. It is safe to drive but yoy have no all wheel drive right now.

where is the transmission control module located at on a 2002 acura mdx

if memory serves,you should be able to replace wheel stud by hammering it out backwards/inboard.then replacement is a case of pulling new stud through.

the fluid could be burnt and the filter may need to change. You would aslo need to check the air in your tires to see if one of the front tires is low on air, then the next thing would be to check to see if a brake caliper is sticking.

If it is only making that noise when you turn the wheel, it's probably low on power steering fluid, adding some to full mark should cure the problem.

Best way to find this is look in side your owners manual. It is security code to protect from theft. If not call a Acura dealer or the shop you had it done at. They should help.

Have someone check runout which is .004.  If so, unless they are blue-overheated, cut rotors and replace the pads.
