I have a 2003 Jeep Liberty (good body,no engine,std. Trans and a 2004 Jeep Liberty (bad body,auto trans.) Can I put the 04 motor AND computer into the 03 jeep ???

VIN won't help on that question. Check cars.com for the look on the model years. That's usually a good clue since the overall look will be basically the same during a model run.
