Why does my gear change clunk every time I change gear in my Nissan note please

can be anything --exhaust loose ant part in suspension --motor/trans mounts--axles--hubs etc

jack up front and inspect the suspension clunk can be anything from strut failure to loose or failed new parts

Hi,it could be just that the filter and fluid need changed,this can couse bad gear change,all the best.

check oil in gear box if auto change filter and put new oil

does it clunk into the gear or is it just drive, if it is all the gears then it might be low on tranny fluid but if it does it only in drive it may be a solenoid you may want to have it checked if it is only one gear

check the ujoints in drive shaft or check pinion gear check any thing thats hangs down or moves

Im assuming the car isnt moving!! This may be the half shaft (shaft that connects engine/trans to your wheel axle) possibly disconnected/popped out. Have the shaft inspected for worn CV joints/bearings and engine/transmission mounts are intact. hopefully this helps!!

sounds as though your input shaft broke, this would cause a loud clunk, cause it to feel as though in gear, and cause no pull.

when the last time you made a tranny oil change ? or also check the level of oil when all that is done youncan get more technical lets see could be the shift bushing ... easy to install and if its a tranny probleme well maybe time to get that corvette you always wanted go big or go home ahahah good luck
