Test the sender first. It could just be a poor electrical connection on the sender or the sender itself. Check oil level too. If you have a lot of miles on the engine it's possible the oil pump is worn.

SOURCE: oil light when idling

Have an oil pressure test done.
One of 4 things could possibly cause that.
Bad oil pressure sending unit.
just the oil sending unit.
weak oil pump.
low oil---check oil, see if it needs any.

SOURCE: 2002 Chrysler Sebring Oil pressure light

Could be a bad oil pressure switch, or a bad oil pump. Both will cause this issue. Hope it is the switch b/c the oil pump is a costly repair.

SOURCE: while car is idle oil light blinks on and while driving light goes out

First, check the oil level, if ts low that could be your problem. If its full, you could have either a faulty oil pressure sending unit, or (hopefully not), a bad oil pump. If the car is still under warranty, I'd take it to Chrysler and have them look at it. You could try a higher viscosity of oil too, but I'd make sure everything else is ok first. That cars still a little too new to be having problems like that.

06 chrysler 300. When I'm at a red light, the oil check on the dash appears then a ding sound. I notice the car idles roughly amd when the light turns green and I start driving the car is fine

Ok what is wrong is your idling is to low which is controlled but a ( Throttle Position Sensor Switch) buy one of these and your problems will be gone, The ding you hear is low oil pressure warning going off once the idling goes back up the oil pressure goes back to being good.

2008 Chrysler 300 5.7L. Oil warning light is on. Did reset. Still comes on. Much noise as if oil is not getting to engine.

The warning light is probably for low oil pressure, which is likely the problem if you are hearing engine noise.
Don't drive it until you get a mechanic to check the oil pressure.

I changed the oil pressure switch on my 2007 Chrysler 300 but the light keeps chiming?

The you really do have low oil pressure? have this checked asap with a manual test gauge. Do not drive it until the cause is found or risk destroying the engine.

In my 2005 chrysler 300 the oillight keeps beeping and blinking, any ideas of whats going on?

The problem may be a leaking oil pressure sending unit. If the sender leaks it can fill the plug cavity with oil and cauce it to read improperly. If you decide to replace it get one from chrysler,I have gotten them in the aftermarket only to have the same concern.Once I installed one from dealer problem gone. ALSO . you may want to hook up an mechanical oil press gauge to pressure switch port to see what the pressure actually is to be sure you do not have low oil pressure.

What does it mean if my 2006 chrysler 300 makes a loud blowing noise? Im late on my oil change is that why? If it is the reason when i change the oil will it still be loud?

A loud blowing noise is not caused by failing to timely get an oil change, if the oil is gone you will get a loud metal on metal sound followed by a clunk of the engine freezing up. The oil pressure light would have been on solid for a while first. If it sounds like a vacuum cleaner, could be a plugged catalytic converter, if not could be a power steering pump low on fluid. I think you are hearing a fan which does not kick off by itself. On a car that new something has failed. I would get the warranty papers out of the glovebox, examine them and take this to a dealer ASAP.

I have a light that has came on in my 2006 chrysler 300 that looks like a camcorder to me it is in the same area with my oil light and air pressure light please help

I think that is your check engine light. It looks like the pic of an engine. You will have to have it scanned codes. Autozone will do it for free.

Oil can icon on the dashboard of chrysler 300 -what to do??

oil light indicates one of two things, Low oil pressure. or Low oil level. Check the level on the dipstick (consult owners manual), if it is low fill it to the "full" line with fresh oil of the correct grade. Also the oil on the disptick should look syrupy golden, not black and dirty - if the oil looks filthy then get it changed, old oil is thinner and results in lower pressure... if it is already at or near the FULL line then you have a more serious problem - low oil pressure is caused by a, faulty oil pump b, worn engine c, wrong grade of oil d, not enough oil e, contaminated oil Also a faulty oil pressure switch could bring the light on... so check this before you have the engine stripped!!!!!
An oil change will cost very little money and could solve the problem, if the light is still on with new oil then chave the oil pressure switch tested... if not the switch than it is a "real" engine problem and needs proper investigation.
IT IS NOT A GOOD IDEA TO DRIVE WITH THE OIL LIGHT ON Unless you know it is an electrical fault and not truly a low oil pressure condition bringing on the light.

CHECK OIL - fill if necesary - light hopefully goes off... STILL ON - have switch tested - switch is hopefully faulty - replace it... STILL ON - have engine checked out - it is losing pressure somewhere

Oil light comes on and "bings" when the tack shows 1000 rpm.

I have no idea how many miles are on the van but 1st lets talk about the oil lite, it is telling u that the engine has less than 10 PSI of oil pressure, this may be the pressure sending unit on the engine is defective, if it does have low oil pressure then severe damage to the engine bearings can result, the click is most likely the contacts in the starter solenoid are burnt, they act up more cold and give the click you hear. I have no idea about the steering issue, without hearing it is almost imposs to diagnose such concerns. In closing I highly recommned that you address the low oil pressure concern ASAP
