No engines stated
the car is sold world wide and with many different engines
why is this hard to state, in USA? are your
is engine V6 , and 2.7L ? H27 is true name
the V6 is not like the J20 4 banger at all.
as you can see poster guessed J20
but i bet its not.
but no engine actually stated, and its an ENGINE question.
wow.

why not buy the kit from Felpro.
and read the instructions with it, Felpro is best.
not from china, "no-name" junk.

or log in to mitchells and read.
or see the real book here posted 100s times.
the real suzuki pages, USA> no fact, no cloned, but official pages
$4
its called a service manual, read it? and oh boy, real facts.
USA

here it is again,

this is not spam its a factory book , not a compendium of lies and toxic mix of 10 years in a rag book. (as seen on TV)

    you can see it
you can see the screws holding it down
you can see the COP coils need to come off
any thing blocking it needs to what, yes come off.
the word gain access to , is what matters.
you work on and engine and dont know what engine is there?

if the V6, H20,25,27 or larger.
    this shows the parts.

the big question is does the intake manifold need to come of on the H27 engines.?
    i think yes,
as you can see there is not much clearance
at the top inboard edges of that cover.
so getting the cover above the cams, is
problematic, with just cover screws and cops removed.
    Does that help>>????
worse is water pump, dont ask;. h27

    or VIN
    or photo of your engines
so the guessers can guess right>?

2006 grand Vitara. Timing is good. has 0 compression. spins over fast with on start

-How do you know timing is good. Looking good outside but may be no teeth at the pulley.
-All cams and valves moving when you crank?
-0 compression on only 1 or 2 cylinder or on all ?
-If only 1 or 2 cylinder has no compression then telling that blow head gasket or burn valves.
-If all has no compression then timing belt is bad.

Good luck

I have a 2001 Suzuki Grand Vitara i just replaced valve cover gaskets and spark plugs now the vehicle does'nt start it cranks but does'nt it has fuel but its nnot

no engine stated, and is an engine question.
G16,J20, or H25?
1.6l, 2.0L or v6 ?
my guess, is you removed spark plug wires and put them back out of order, never do that, always change wires 1 by 1.
or the firing order will be wrong, (cops excepted, coil over plug)

how many coil packs do you have.

1999 Suzuki Grand Vitara just had the engine replaced, but it is burning oil out the tailpipe the warranty company is saying it is the value covers, is this true

Valve covers leaking oil OUT the tail pipe, no way in hell! Valve covers can leak oil onto the exhaust manifold, but there is no way its going to get into the exhaust from there and out the tail pipe.

Bad valve guides and/or valve guide seals would put oil from the top of the head and into the cylinders. That is a far bigger job than just replacing valve cover gaskets.

Don't let the warranty company give you any more of that kind of BS.

Leaking from valve cover. other than changing the the gasket what can be done now that the top is removed in order to prevent from having this charge to me a second time around for something else. My 2003...

Other than replace it with the correct gasket. Not much.... You can get a neuopran gasket as oppose to a cork gasket. There is a few dollar difference but not gonna solve the problem completely you'll get a few extra miles before it leaks again.. This is a common maintence problem. Gonna happen again in another 65k miles The valve cover gaskets take a lot of vibration from the head as well as heat.
