Hello jessie.
the starters are not all the same
what engine is there?
here are the steps, posted here 100s of times.
gain access to it, means you might need to have car on jack stands, if not built like Olive-Oyl., hehe.
1: disconnect the battery neg lug ,
2: remove all wires from the starter.
3: the bolts on the starter are next. remove them
and it falls and hits you, duck.
some engines, on this car, (non stated) have starter shims.
and needs to be shimmered correctly per the SM service manual.
on the V6, add these just before step2
when asking an engine question
tell first what's there,
a win/win.
not all are the same,
what car
what engine
what transmission
what country.
what year.
car parts vary by THAT>.
or post the VIN if car is USA car, we can decode any VIN, to driveline, here.
