Without a key with anti-theft transponder inside your not starting anything . Your best bet call mobile lock smith . Anti-theft system ,software programmed into all module's involved in starting the vehicle .
The vehicle theft deterrent (VTD) system functions are provided by the theft deterrent control module. The VTD system prevents vehicle operation if a learned Passkey III (PK3) ignition key is not used to start the vehicle. Vehicles with steering column mounted ignition switches have the exciter integral with the theft deterrent control module which is located within the steering column. Vehicles with instrument panel mounted ignition switches have exciter modules separate from the theft deterrent control module with the vehicle wiring harness connecting the two. The PK3 key has a transponder embedded in the plastic head of the key. The exciter is an antenna which is made up of wire coils which surround the ignition lock cylinder. The PCM enables engine starting when it receives a learned fuel enable signal from the theft deterrent control module. The components of the VTD system are as follows:

SOURCE: Replacing 90 pipe assembly part on 1997 Grand Prix GT

If its the same as my GTP, its just under the Supercharger right in the middle of the intake.
Just pull it out, its only held in with a O-ring. When you replace it, make sure you lube the gasket with grease so its easier to put back in, and less likely to nick the O-ring.

SOURCE: ignition key stuck in 2003 Grand Prix

If you have an auto trans, check to make sure the car is in park. If the shift lever is even slightly misaligned, (even though the indicator says PARK) your key won't come out.
Try spraying the tumbler with powdered graphite.
It is a common problem, and I found two possible answers. The ignition plunger in the ignition switch or the Park release solenoid located in the center console. I've heard that when the solenoid sticks it prevents your key from being released. I have not fixed mine yet, I just use the inside of a ball point pen to release the plunger by sticking it in the access hole under the ignition.

SOURCE: replace thermostat on 2003 grand prix gtp with

The thermostat housing is located in the upper radiator hose. You will see a metal elbow secured by two bolts into what I remember is the upper intake manifold...don't quote me on that but you will see it regardless of whatever I call it. Anyways, GM decided it was a good idea to put stainless steel bolts in there but that makes it easy to strip the threads in the bolt hole so I think it's best when you put your wrench on the bolt to just tap on the handle till you vibrate it loose, then turn it.
When you pull off the housing you'll lose a little coolant and it will create an air pocket which we'll address. It's a 50/50 chance that the thermostat housing gasket will either stick to the housing or the engine...it may be torn, cracked or flaking in either case clean both contact surfaces before you replace the gasket. I recommend an oil impregnated poly material gasket.
Note the position of the thermostat in the hole and place the new one in as such.
I recommend a 180 degree thermostat...stock is 195 but the GTP runs better with the 180.
Put on gasket and reinstall the hose/housing assembly, alternate from one bolt to the other so the housing mates flat and cannot cause a leak.
Next, fill the coolant overflow bottle to the "HOT" mark. If the bottle is dirty and hard to see just put a light on top of the bottle...GM didn't mark it very well so if it's not squeaky clean you can hardly see a damn thing.
*IMPORTANT** if your car still has Dexcool in it, DUMP IT. It will eventually destroy the motor.
If not...continue on. Start the car. Go back to the thermostat housing and place a rag on top of, and twist the peacock valve on top of it to let the air out until it starts to get coolant on the rag. Done.

I have a 1989 Pont Grand Prix, it will idle without problems, but when out on the road If I accelerate it will cut completly out sometimes it will die and maybe start back and sometimes it won't but after...

Grand Prix ... my fave, too.

It is the "accelerator pump" on the carb; or rather the rubber diaphragm inside the accelerator pump.

The pump "arm" is visible on the top-front of the carb. Maybe the arm got loose or disconnected, but it's most likely the diaphragm inside.

The accelerator pump squirts extra gas when you stomp it.... while the fuel pump tries to keep up, but can't...

Maybe $10 at any auto parts store...
