Vehicle Speed Sensor "B" Range/Performance THIS IS FOR YOU Kia trouble code, please replace the speed sensor B, any questions, pls ask the 24 hrs live technical support multidiag access, they will like to help you, good luck
The speed sensor module is AKA "throttle control unit" on the throttle body. This is what controls your accelerator. Your vehicle does not have throttle linkage or a throttle cable if it is equipped with one of these.
The speed sensor is located on top of the transmission Just under the Air Filter. So you will have to remove the Air Filter and you will see your two main sensors (I/O sensors.) .For more detail----------- If you remove the air filter and look down on top of the transaxel, you'll see a couple of connectors that lead to sensors that are inserted into the transaxel. The Output Speed Sensor is the one towards the rear of the car, towards the driver. The Input Speed Sensor is the one a little hidden under a diagonal cable (with a boot covering the cable) right in front of your face.Thanks. you can rate this solution and show your appreciation.
The input shaft speed sensor is located on the side of the transmission by where the engine "inputs" power to the transmission (via torque converter), thus rotating the input shaft.
The output speed sensor is located by where the axles attach to the transmission, and measures the speed that the transmission "outputs" to the axles (which make the wheels turn) and that data is also used for your speedometer reading.
