the easiest way to help you is you can purchase a repair manual for your vehicle at an auto parts store like napa,Oreillys or auto zone the manuals are around 20 dollars and have all the specifics you will need to do this your self. these manuals have diagrams and step by step instructions. good luck and hope this helps you.

there is a tool to line up the sensor while at top dead center on #1 cylinder you put it on top of the syncronizer fords name for the oil pump drive & interupter. good luck from schleck.

2.0L Engines

The
accessory drive belt for 2.0L engines has no provision for manual belt
adjustment, since these engines use an automatic belt tensioner. Drive
belt slack is taken up by the automatic tensioner.
Movement of
the automatic tensioner assembly during engine operation is not a sign
of a malfunctioning tensioner. This movement is the tensioner
self-adjusting and is required to maintain constant belt tension.
The belt tensioner has a belt length indicator. If the indicator marks are not between the MIN and MAX marks, the belt must be replaced.

there isnt marks!the cam pulleys have do nothing with timing!remove the valve cover and see in the other end of the camshafts and find two eccentric cuts!turn the crankshaft to the top dead point on the cylinder 1 the two cuts must be in the same line on the upper or lower side.you need aspecial tool to lock the camshafts and another to lock the crankshaft!this is the timing procedure!now you can change anything you want!note!the cam pulleys are conejointed to the camshafts!no marks no pins no safe pins etc.isnt difficult but complicated simple!
