to fix car engines, you must first know what is there.
1.6 L Family 1 I4 (petrol)
1.8 L Family 1 I4 (petrol)[3]
2.0 L Family II turbo I4 (petrol)
2.2 L Family II I4 (petrol)
2.0 L X20DTL I4 (diesel)
2.2 L Y22DTR I4 (diesel)
on most cars the VIN tells you that
or the chassis serial and ID PLATE.
or just look at it. if not diesel then the displacement in this case
discloses what engine it is.
