I have a nissan murano 2005 with the code p1701 and a p0340 how can i use them to repair these codes

Nissan Murano P0340 2005 Nissan Murano - Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit
Possible causes- Faulty Camshaft Position Sensor-
Camshaft Position Sensor harness is open or shorted- Camshaft Position Sensor circuit poor electrical connection- Faulty starter motor- Starting system circuit-
Dead (Weak) battery
P1701- Fuel trim

I would suggest replacing the camshaft position sensor. When the sensor fails it can cause changes in fuel system that the computer can detect. So I suspect once the camshaft sensor ivreplaced that the P1701 code will be gone.

After getting fuel my2005 Nissan murano tries to die won't get up to road speed

Did you let the fuel nearly run out, or run out completely?

When the fuel level is very low, the sediment is drawn into the fuel sock at the fuel pump inside the fuel tank, clogging it, then clogging the fuel filter, and possibly the injectors can be damaged.

You didn't put diesel fuel into it, and you did use the correct grade of fuel. Just asking?

You may consider installing a new fuel filter. Before installing it, fill it with fuel injector cleaner-to give the system a good cleaning. This may help to clean up some of the problem.

More information always helps. Mileage, recent repairs, how it has been performing prior to any problems, etc.

If it's not tied to the fuel system or the fuel just installed, check the catalytic converter and exhaust system.

Good luck!

My Murano fuel consumption is a bout 100km/Liter. Your recommendations are highly appreciated.

New air filter, new fuel filter, proper tire pressure, and easy on/off the gas.

2005 nissan murano sl, with rattling sound when accelerating

I recently experienced the same symptom with my '05 Murano and it was not a fuel problem. The dealer listed the cause as dry axle splines and replaced both front drive shaft assy's. Note that this was done as warranty with no cost incurred by me.
