SOURCE: replacing the radiator system for nissan altima 1998
Drain coolant from the cooling system. White plastic drain plug in bottom of radiator.
take off bottom rad. hose and top rad hose.
All wrenches and sockets are either 10 or 12 mm. Remove air shroud from around radiator and fan.
Sometimes its easier to remove fan too.
If its an automatic, remove 2 rubber hoses at bottom of rad.
remove 4 bolts top and bottom that hold rad. in place.
reverse order of parts. Fill with coolant and check for leaks.
That is the basics of it.

SOURCE: no fan on and engine hot 95 Nissan Altima
for the fans check the ect, engine coolant temperature sensor. located on the thermostat housin, this tells your computer when the temperature is at 228 degrees f which turns on your fan. if the gauge is reading hot it could be either the temperature sensor on the radiator or you have an after market radiator cap(checkers, autozone, pep boys) whatever but the dealer cap will make the temp. read right. the tach is gonna be your crank sensor or cam sensor and your shift codes should be your tranny sensor, not the shift nuetral safety switch.

The fuel pump relay is on driver's side of the car under the hood. It is under a label row of relays. thanks.
SOURCE: '97 nissan altima, brake lights not working, wire
Lets keep it simple if the wiring harness is in good condition lets not look at that... first check your fuse if the fuse is good... check for power... if you have power coming and going from the fuse then check your brake switch ( located under the dash) attached to brake pedal. Please make sure your light bulbs are both good also. If your brake light switch is good and you have tried everything else it is either going to be in your 4 way switch or wiring harness
