SOURCE: How to clean EGR valve passages in 1993 Isuzu Trooper DOHC V6

You have to the EGR valve (sometimes the Intake manifold to EGR Vlalve line also). After you remove it take a drill bit the about 20 % smaller than the actual hole of the outlet side and rotate the drill bit with your hand to dig out the carbon. Aditionally the line coming from the intake manifold to the EGR valve will clog near the connection to the EGR valve. I use either a single piece of copper wire or the wire that you would use to tie ribar together to clean the line. When your done cleaning take a piece of vacuum line and connect it to the diaphram side and **** on it... then plug the line well with your thumb. Grasp the valve and blow thru it... Air should blow thru it freely. Remove your thumb from the vacuum line and try blowing again.. No air should pass thru the valve.
Then reinstall the valve and start the vehicle with the vacuum line disconnected (but blocked off) Use another piece of vacuum line connected to the diaphram again and **** on the line.. The vehicle should die or run really bad. If it does this then you cleaned it correctly.

153624
dont listen to 123456 lies here.
you do not control this order the PCM does ,
your job is to plug them in right.

i bet the real questions are.
lacking your SM right
is how to wire those 3 coil packs.' at ICM
you pulled wires willly-nillly sure. posted here vast times
since the 3 packs are cookie cutter same
no numbers stamped on them. (cylinder #)

right. why not just ask?
id bet you lost this.
its in all SM sevice manual on this car.
the pcm does the order, 153624
but fires left pack then right, the center, center, right then left
see? this is called wasted spark. (a key learning tool)

Firing order 1994 iszuzu trooper 3,2 sohc

its a V6
Order: 1-2-3-4-5-6 Distributorless Ignition System
outside usa , ive not a clue.
and i bet you are.

3,2, tells me (not USA) comma for decimals.was the clue.

EFI systems vary world wide)
the firing order on ours is per above, im not sure how many 3.2v6 are made world wide, with different crank /cams.
seems there are 3 if you read the wiki......

there is a gm v6 LG6 is 3.1L and isuzu v6 (x2) 3.2L
the real Isuzu is called 6VD1 engine
later years GM 4.3L
my guess is 6VD1 or W

and 6VD1W. twin cam. introduced in 1996 on troopers.

76 degree V 6's
per the wiki
The feature either a belt-driven SOHC or DOHC valvetrain. Later versions feature direct ignition as well as gasoline direct injection. These engines are notable for their early adoption of gasoline direct injection technology and also for their uncommon 75° cylinder head bank angle.

before i work on and engine i learn what is there first.
as you can see wide variances there are.
post country first. then if single or twin cams.

but the firing order is dictated by cam and crank geometries.

Isuzu V6 sparkplug firing order

gee guy, 3.1L or 3.2L?
you only need 3 things to time the distrib. static.
where is #1, its the most forward cylinder, LOOK carefully.
forward means closest to the cam drive end of engine.
not flywheel end.
rotor rotation direction (crank and watch it)
now the order, 3.2l v6? IS It? the single cam?
1990 trooper v6
answering for only USA car...
our 3.2 has no distrib V6 its DIS.

3.1L V6 USA spec. only. rotor is CCW

Sorry for the delay. I am personally going back to answer your unanswered question.

For the 3.1L V6:

1......3.......5
2......4.......6
....(front)
Ignition Coil Connections:

1.......3.........5
2.......4.........6
......(front)
Ignition Coil Connections:
............(back)
.|.1..4.|..|.3..6.|..|.2..5.|
...........(front)

Again my apologies...
